JAVA PHONES CONFIGURATIONS(MTN)

 

 Manual settings :


1) Press [Menu] and select [Settings].
2) In [Settings] select [Configuration] > [Personal configuration settings].
3) In [Personal accts.] press [Options] > [Add new] > [Web] , or if the account list is empty press [Add new] > [Web].
4) Enter the following information :

Account name : MTN WAP
Homepage : http://wap.mtnonlinplay.com
User name : web
Password : web
Use preferred access point : No
Define access point settings : OK
Access point settings :
Proxy : Enable
Proxy address : 10.199.212.2
Proxy port : 8080
Data bearer : Packet data
Bearer settings :
Packet data access point : web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net
Network type : IPv4
Authentication type : Normal
User name : web
Password : web
5) Press three times [Back].
6) In [Personal accts.] choose the name of the profile : MTN WAP , press [Options] and select [Activate].
The new profile is saved and activated.


                                                            MMS

Manual settings : 1) Press [Menu] and select [Settings]. 2) In [Settings] select [Configuration] > [Personal configuration settings]. 3) In [Personal accts.] press [Options] > [Add new] > [Multimedia msg.] , or if the account list is empty press [Add new] > [Multimedia msg.]. 4) Enter the following information : Account name : MTN MMS Server address : http://10.199.212.8/servlets/mms Use preferred access point : No Define access point settings : OK Acces point settings : Proxy : Enable Proxy address : 10.199.212.2 Proxy port : 8080 Bearer settings : Packet data access point : web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net Network type : IPv4 Authentication type : Normal User name : web Password : web 5) Press three times [Back]. 6) In [Personal accts.] choose the name of the profile : MTN MMS , press [Options] and select [Activate]. The new profile is saved and activated.
